Hader came in and got 2-0 to castro, 3rd pitch is clearly outside, not really all that close, and instead of a 3-0 count with the bases loaded its now 2-1 and starlin goes on to strike out. Theres 0 excuse for umpires to still be calling balls and strikes in 2019. It's just a flat out refusal to bring the game into the 21st century and it leads to horrendous calls daily. There is a very simple way to get 100% of balls and strikes right, and they just refuse to do it. -

It’s not. Caleb’s spot obviously doesn’t come up again for 4 games. It will be elieser cause he’s on the 40. Never want to see him get hurt but it’s a relief that it’s not an arm or shoulder thing, which is what scared me when his velocity was noticeably down yesterday. why is chen still on the team? not even rhetorical, does anyone have an answer aside from money? What's the point of hanging onto the sunk cost that you are going to have to pay regardless if you are never going to pitch him because he is so incredibly terrible. The guy has pitched in 10 games in a month and a half out of a bullpen that isnt even good apart from him, so its not like we just have an otherwise good bullpen aside from him. They really just need to cut bait already and move on for the betterment of both sides. This hanging on to him and never pitching him because everyone in the league knows he is awful is just a bad situation for all parties involved.Comment
