He throws fast. Since the dawn of time baseball people have gone crazy over anybody that can throw over 96 MPH.

Team should get better production from Brian Anderson down the line. He isn't a sub .500 OPS guy. If he can't produce a bad lineup has even more problems.

Gallen thru 8 innings with a no-hitter. Would be a perfect game if not for an error by the 1st baseman.

nvm, he went 7, struck out 11, no hits, no walks. Jarlin Garcia struck out the side in the 8th. Tommy Eveld gave up a lead-off homer in the top of the 9th to break up the no-hitter.

They should claim Tyler Austin who was just DFA'd by the Twins. Career .760 OPS hitter with big power potential, was in Yankee organization 2010-2018 so they know him for sure. If nothing more, he is a perfect bench/platoon 1B who obliterates lefties (.952 OPS). Unfortunately he probably can't play a corner-OF position, but it's not like Walker and Prado are going to be around past July.

They should gamble on some guys like this. I'd take him over O'Brien for sure and maybe him and Cooper hit enough to show some hope for 1B.
