The worst they got was 14-27 on may 20 and the best they got was 3 over at 66-63 on august 27 so they went 52-36. The dodgers on may 20th were 25-19 and on august 27th were 91-38. Thats 66-19.

So yes, if you're right i wont post here for 30 days.

You were wrong because the Marlins were much better than 5th-10th best team during that stretch.


My original point remains, though, because the similarities between this year’s record and last years will soon end.

The 2018 Marlins have a tough stretch coming up, are tied for the 3rd worst run differential in baseball and will likely be selling pieces at the deadline to add more speedy defensive types.

This has never made sense to me. You got this defensive weapon in Rojas, who pretty much wherever you put him on the infield he's going to be the best defender, and Mattingly subs him in at 1st? My only thought is that because Mattingly was a 1st baseman he has on over-inflated idea of the importance of a first-baseman's defense.

our pitching has been phenomenal the last few weeks. And castro has been really good this year. And dietrich has been horrific.

Right. Makes no sense. Its not like Bour is an abomination at 1st. Taking his bat out of the line up late in games is so dumb.
