Martin Prado played 5 innings at extended spring training. When he returns to 3B Brian Anderson is expected to play in Right Field. Initial stages of work there. Anderson is also working some at First Base.
What do you guys think? I'm okay with that. Maybe we can deal Prado at the deadline and a little flexibility is always good.

Been wondering what the move for Prado has been for a while. This makes a ton of sense and would lend credence to the view that he can no longer play OF given his age and injuries. Im cool with it cause i think Anderson has the athleticism to play RF and I think the more important part is having his bat in the lineup and developing and we have a hole in RF anyways.

“The plan” is for Wei-Yin Chen to make his season debut vs and start vs Colorado on April 27th.

jb shuck goes 4/21 to start the AAA year, and then of course starts the year for the marlins 2/2 with a triple because baseball.

in other news straily was horrible in his start tonight for Jupiter. Not unheard of for a guy coming off an injury but hopefully it was just rust and not reaggravation of an injury.

Juan soto just hit his 4th hr of the year in 8 games, this one against our greensboro affiliate. I would honestly trade JT straight up for him.

I dont think ive ever felt like a player has been as overmatched at the plate as Chad Wallach. Even the single he just hit was a completely unintentional blooper into RF

Only reason im blowing up this game thread without being responded to is because i gotta wake up early tomorrow so i cant do shit tonight, but dillon peters hair is phenomenal. Id give him an extra start or 2 even if he struggles based on that flow alone despite his lackluster fastball.

Is it only me or DD runs kinda weird in the outfield? Like he isn't like that around the bases.
