Betting red sox both money line and -1.5 runs tonight was about as easy money as they make.

With that said, im a horrific gambler and the marlins will probably win by 10 tonight.

Jesus. Chris Sale is such a fucking stud of a pitcher and his deal is the biggest value in baseball among guys that arent on their team control contract.

As for the rotation for the next month until Alcantara comes up, id go with Urena, Straily and Elieser when they come back, Smith, and Jarlin with Richards getting more experience in AAA. Then midseason deal Straily and maybe Urena and go with Elieser, Alcantara, Jarlin, Smith, and a AAA guy who excels like Richards/Gallen/maybe give Conley one last shot and then move him to the bullpen if he struggles.

great ab's by the guys making Sale throw a lot of pitches. Best you can really hope for with Sale is to make him throw a lot of pitches. He should be out by the 6th at this rate.

Urena's been much better since that 1st inning opening day. Felt bad for him that day because it was clear he was nervous as hell and he's young and has no business pitching on opening day and that team's lineup is a juggernaut. Just want to see him at least match what he did last year and not have a huge regression.

This is my first time really listening/seeing more than a few minutes of the broadcast - y'all weren't kidding about the "effort, drive, grit, give them a chance blah blah blah" comments about this team by Paul and Todd. It's annoying haha.
