Does anyone know how to determine his average velocity? cause i read something that said he has had decreasing velocity for 3 straight years which is very concerning for his future.

Fangraphs has him at 95.6 his first two years, 94.8 last year, and 93.2 to start off this year (small sample obviously).

nvm i found it and it appears to be true.

2015 he averaged 95.6. 2016 he averaged 95.6. last year he averaged 94.8 and this year he's at 93.2 albeit in limited sample size. Also yes it appears he is using his changeup 14.8% of the time as opposed to 4.4% last year and 3.9% the year before.
