Chen is a waste of time. I wish they’d take him out of the rotation. As a matter of fact, looking at his splits, he might be decent out of the pen.

Agreed but he's gotta be around here at least through next year so just saying that at least he is able to pitch which is more than you could have said in previous years. His contract is a disaster but he was a good pitcher in Baltimore so im hoping he is at least salvageable for the next few years as a 5th starter or reliever.

The Nats bullpen is awful, and their starting rotation without Strasburg isn’t that good after Scherzer.

I feel like this roster obviously is awful, but Mattingly really makes some stupid fucking decisions to really get the least out of the roster

Just his handling of the team all year. He hasnt helped put guys in positions to succeed. Things like calling up/having prospects on the roster in a lost year and hitting them 8th in an already bad lineup while hitting retread veterans at the top. Just feels like his decisions are not in line with what they should be given what the end goal is for the organization.
