I’ve gotten those emails. I’m not giving them any money for the foreseeable future. They don’t deserve it. I’m not even planning on watching any games this year.

they need to learn that constantly burning it down to nothing so Bruce can make more is inexcusable. Sadly, they’ll just continue using it as an excuse of why they can’t spend because people won’t come out.

they’re complete morons that can’t understand what needs to be done in this market to create success on and off the field.

There have been other rebuilds over the years, but the franchise really feels like it’s in the worst place it’s ever been
I thought attendance would crater last year after doing nothing following a postseason appearance. But it actually slightly increased…..BUT, I think it’s a hangover effect, where last year’s terrible will affect this year’s numbers. I’ll keep track of it again this year and see how it turns out.

As opposed to now? Where we have Eric wagaman and Jonah bride in the heart of our lineup? The team absolutely didn’t need to be torn apart, and they are not anywhere near where they were last year and the farm is still mediocre, so how exactly is this a productive plan? If the plan is to build through the draft, that could have happened while not tearing down the team yet again

Too high in my opinion. We lost more than that last year and is this team better than that? They at least had arraez, Scott, luzardo, burger, hoeing, jazz, bell, and puk for portions of last year. Yes they get sandy back but how long is he on the team for? this team is worse than last years somehow

Our rotation to start the year is laughable. I have no idea who Connor Gillespie is or where he came from. Depending on how early they trade sandy I could see them losing 110 games if the pitching injuries stay this bad

I'm not patting myself on the back, i'm showing you that my negativity is just reality, not me being overly negative. This franchise has nothing to look forward to, so when you tell me to go follow the angels because im not fucking glowing about this shit organization, it's the organization, not me being a bad fan.

you're actually right about arraez though, my bad, im conflating you with Lou who said it was totally realistic that we get 6 bats for Luzardo and Scott. Looking back at lou's posts after the trade is actually pretty laughable.

This is a doozy- "I think it is very realistic for this team to acquire 6 bats trading Jesus Luzardo, Tanner Scott, whatever other spare parts they have, and spending $50 million (2023 payroll estimate). Easily can fit in Adames, Jansen, and a $10m bat with that amount."

And dont even get me started on the ridiculous bullpen write up he had at the beginning of this offseason talking about all these different guys and their potential and the majority of them are either in japan or the minors.

Blowing this team up yet again, for really no reason other than them not wanting to spend money to improve the existing roster, was just about the dumbest thing you could do if you had any read on this market whatsoever. We traded one of the worst owners in sports to the worst owner in sports. This market deserves better, and it deserves a chance to succeed. It has never been close to getting a chance to succed.

You can argue whether arraez is overvalued, undervalued, whether we got a good return for him, etc. You cannot argue what that trade signified in terms of the direction they clearly showed they were about to go, and what that meant for the organization and the fanbase.

Either way, it looks like Pauley will make the team.

Considering the situation Javier Sanoja should just play every day at a different position every day. Fully expecting him to make the team and then rot on the bench.
