Nardi is kind of important here! He's a top 10-20 lefty reliever in the league and controlled for awhile. This team could be good. The pitching is very legit.

You keep saying this but his change and curve both grade pretty highly, too. In fact his curve has been better than his slider so far IIRC.

Good deadline overall. Got rid of who you needed to get rid of (FAs/Money/30y+) and got both major and minor league depth as well as $. Definitely a lot more exciting now with the Rogers trade, that feels like the needle mover.

Pauley has actually hit very well in July (.871 OPS) after a horrendous June. I’d let him play 3B the rest of the year.

Love what they did at the deadline. Got an infusion of talent this team desperately needed and honestly, didn’t lose a ton that they can’t replace. DLC stinks, jazz never lived up to the hype, Scott wasn’t re-signing, Brazoban is a guy they can find again, and rogers would probably be closer to 10th than 5th in my opinion when all of our starters are healthy. Now we need to develop a god damn hitter for the first time in 7 years
