i dont think they have anyone else available. It's stupid but supposedly jazz isnt available because they arent pushing him on back to back days. Cooper and segura were traded. Fortes would have been a better option though.

i dont see how you can keep wendle around at this point. He is a pretty average defender. He's not bad, but the defense isnt anywhere close to good enough to justify keeping his completely worthless bat. Garrett hampson has a 105 WRC+ this year, he has earned his spot. Wendle is a free agent after the year anyway. It's a sunk cost, he needs to be DFA'd after tonight.

Hampson has options so you could keep them both to be devil's advocate.
