If he's not traded, 2 or 3 more starts like that and he needs to be up here.
How comfortable are we calling him up with 120 minor league innings in total with roughly a 4.6 xFIP in limited innings this year? Eury was called up with over 175 IP for perspective. Eder is older, but still. I genuinely do not know if Eder is an option which is all I am saying, although I do love his upside longterm.
Just saying here. Is he ready as I just see the statline?

I think it’s important to point out I said him having 2 or 3 more outings like he did yesterday. If he does that his stats this year will look a lot different.
Unreal we're giving Garcia more chances, dude has either been hurt or awful for 270 games.
At this point I’m not sure I see the harm, especially against a lefty. It’s unlikely, but maybe he recaptures his form. But the lineup has been horrid lately, so I don’t think there’s much to lose until they (hopefully) add a bat or two.

Every single player we’ve played in the corner OF spots has a better OPS this year than Garcia’s OPS as a Marlin. Garcia’s OPS as a Marlin is like 5 points better than Lewis Brinson’s career OPS.
The season is officially slipping away. Improvements needed to come way sooner, I understand the market was tough, but it's just the reality. Ultimately the failings of the offseason just showed up a little later than expected.
