  • Nardi/lefty wasn't the right move here, it was a right hander with Davis(R), Bae(L), Hedges(R), Hayes(R), and McCutchen(R) due up.

Bad bullpen usage. One of the rare missteps this year. But they can't score more than 1 room so it won't cost them a win.

            • Cooper seems to be getting a little hotter. This would be a huge win

              • Enormous win. Especially against their ace. Their next 3 starters are very mediocre

                • Wow that was insane! Stealing a win. Cooper has been great this week after being ass all season.

That has to be from before the year I think, no? I see it on fangraphs but the guy is over 206 innings for his career after todays game

                        Ya I’m actually not sure.

13K’s and no walks is sick.

Man I have gone over this so many times!

The Marlins were gangster as fuck and kept Braxton down in September 22 to keep him 4 days under a full service year (172). The 168 days are through 2022. Cabrera has this same number.

It’s intentional because they are service time gangsters. Garrett and Cabrera are going to be (absent a long option down):

                          24 - Minimum
                          25 - Super 2
                          26-28 Arbitration

They have these dudes 5 more years and it won’t get expensive until 26 or 27.

If we’re including injured guys like Bender have to throw in Meyer and Eder at a minimum. Fulton is probably a step behind here. I’d swap McIntosh/Banfield and Jerar/McIntosh for Host and Miller too. And move some positions around:

                                C Fortes, Banfield/McIntosh
                                1B Arraez, Jerar/McIntosh
                                2B Edwards, Hampson
                                SS Amaya
                                3B Groshans
                                LF DLC
                                CF Jazz, Mangum
                                RF Sanchez, Burdick

                                SP Sandy, Eury, Cabrera, Meyer
                                SP Luzardo, Garrett, Rogers, Eder
                                RP Bender, Hoeing
                                RP Puk, Scott, Nardi

If we’re including the lower minor prospects, Cappe, Watson, Berry, Mack, and Mesa Jr probably replaces the entire bench names. Hat tip to Maldonado and Monteverde who just can’t best the numbers game here.
