Of course they have prospects that would be in demand. I don’t know who specifically they’d be reluctant to include, but my guess would be they were open to trading some, but not selling the farm, which they’d have to do to get a good player. But plenty of good players have gone for packages comparable to what Miami could offer in just prospects alone. If you then start talking about guys in the majors already, that expands your options.
The best idea I can come up with is to deal Soler while he's hot to the offense starved Yankees for SS prospect Oswald Peraza, who is smoking in AAA. Such a deal would require some promising pitching too, a Braxton Garrett at the least.
Despite Alcantara's rough start, I still see a window to trade him to Baltimore for a couple major improvements to the everyday lineup.
WTH isn't X Edwards starting every day somewhere on the field? If you are going to sit him for the likes of Wendle, Hampson, and Segura, he might as well be back in Jacksonville. (On that note, the team must have been very unhappy with Edwards play in CF, because he figures to hit just as well as Davis.)

The system is so weak that we picked up a no name, middle age CF to hold down the fort. (I do like Davis, by the way).

It’s kinda like DLC’s .817 OPS not counting because he’s a streaky hitter. Same logic.

Notice the immense difference expected slugging here for a comparable contact hitter. Night and day. - https://baseballsavant.mlb.com/savan...-r-hitting-mlb
This is an enjoy some hits while it lasts analysis for him. It is nice they are getting lucky and he is "hot" bridging well to the injured guys, but that's it.

If they fall out, turning an out of this world Soler into Peraza would absolutely be a best case scenario. We can dream.

Trade thought. Was reading through some trade proposals on that site. The most interesting thing I saw was a straight-up Peraza for Luzardo deal with Yanks. Each side of the deal had an equal number of likes/dislikes, which is very rare!
