that and being told sixto would be ready for spring training for the 3rd consecutive year and still no return date in sight. Sixto if he is still sixto would be an amazing addition in whatever capacity they use him.

victor mesa jr is also having a really nice year. should have added him to my post before. He might actually become a player.

I've been saying for a while I see no reason to count on Sixto for anything until he's literally in uniform on the field. Otherwise, I have no confidence in the return date projections given his past timelines.

Yeah I stopped counting on Sixto a long time ago. If I were making a top prospect list, he wouldn't be on it, because how the F would you rank him? Anything we get from him at this point is a surprising bonus.

he reportedly through in a simulated game last week and felt good after so that's a start. supposedly he was sitting at 97 but who knows if that's accurate. i havent seen video of him throwing a pitch at more than 75% effort since the 2020 playoffs. every video is him going through the motions.

i do always find it funny when i see his name still on top prospect lists. no idea how you can even rank him anywhere at this point. if he's healthy he was great, but that was also 3 years ago.

It's funny that he was kind of seen as a throw in to help land his brother, and now his brother is a non-prospect, and he has a real chance to become something useful.

The fact that he's not pitching anywhere in the minor leagues right now has nothing to do with service time.
