I'd say it as Chen was it was backloaded also so he was a real line item for well past his time. Garcia will be gone even if he sucks. They both are on the Marlins Mount Rushmore of bad contracts though. Off the top of my head, I think Heath Bell is also a member, and then a fourth might be tough as there hasn't been a big money failure. Maybe someone like Saltalamacchia or Morse would be next in all honesty. As this team never signs anyone.

The trade mount rushmore is bit more dramatic too - Yelich, Cabrera, Realmuto, and the last one will be controversial because World Series, but they traded Adrian fucking Gonzalez instead of Jason Stokes for Ugeth Urbina. If the world series overcomes that one, I'd say the Luis Castillo trade has not aged very well for obvious reasons.

For me, nothing touches the Cabrera one. First of all, Willis was also in that deal, and even though he never regained high level play, he still had value, and they got absolutely nothing for them in the end. Whereas they sent out one of the greatest hitters of this era, and a SP with value.

I'm still holding on to some hope on the Realmuto deal. Sixto's stuff is too good to write that one off just yet.

The Urbina trade to me isn't bad. Gonzalez was a top pick, but his prospect status had taken a hit at that time and Gonzalez was traded fairly quickly by the Rangers. But Urbina helped them win a WS, so I'd still take that trade-off, even if you sent away a much better player.

stallings and hampson back to back to end the lineup is a special kind of awful for a major league team. Not exactly sure what hampson is bringing up here. If they want a backup infielder call up Groshans. IF they want a backup CF, call up burdick. Hampson brings nothing.
