  • well 2022 it is apparently. now we just hope to get a Catcher for Marte, deal off Aguilar since they wont pay him the $10 million he will get in arbitration, and then take fliers as the return for bullpen guys like yimi and bleier and let guys like lewin diaz see if they can show anything.

      • From what I’ve seen from Jazz’s D this year. I’m not seeing a future MLB shortstop.

        • So Why did Jazz just watch that roll past him?

          • All we need is 11 innings from the bullpen today. Immediately fucked after the all-star break.

            • Garrett Cooper is the slowest human.

aguilar and him are neck and neck. and by neck and neck I mean bringing up the far rear in any race.

                • the more this season plays out in the minors with griffin conine playing like we expected peyton burdick to play the more I wonder how their evaluations this past offseason would have been different had we had last seasons minor league year play out normally. And I wonder if had they known conine was going to perform like he has whether they would have been more likely to make the contreras/kimbrel deal which would have made this team look completely different.

Between last years missed minor league year, this year having no DH, and the injuries to Sixto, BA, and the month marte missed, there are so many alternate realities for this team.

But this year is pretty much done, time to look forward to trades. And of course now starling marte's numbers have really taken a tumble. Maybe him and Aguilar or cooper are combined to get 1 specific prospect they love like they loved jazz.

he should be locked in at 2b and they shouldn't even try. We have so many different SS options for the future that just leave him there and let the other guys battle it out for the future SS position. Jazz reminds me of a clone of Albies and if he can get to that level that's an unreal building block for the lineup as we move forward. not going to be a transcendent star but a cornerstone 2b nonetheless who you can count on to consistently put up around 20/20, bring the energy nightly, and K a bit more than we'd prefer limiting the OBP ceiling.

                    • we just need to weather this storm until we can get paul Campbell back from suspension and then we will really make a run at this years pennant

                      • i cant think of another player who I've hated watching more than alfaro. Anyone got any players who come to mind? Brinson was more frustrating than infuriating for me. Alfaro legitimately makes me mad when I see him in the box. just consistently some of the worst at bats I've ever seen from an every day major league player. He make Miguel olivo look like he has plate discipline and strike zone awareness.

                          • i wonder if harrison and alfaro actively compete against each other to figure out who can put together worse at bats.
