Not sure - he may not want to do it anyway, but with the new "always in south Florida" format (Miami for home games, FTL studios for away games) they use now he'd probably be more open to it.

Same. I can't stand Holly or Severino. Glenn Geffnner is the best announcer we have and he should be on TV instead of being hidden in the radio side.

he's still just 2nd behind matt vasgersian for the angels, so maybe there's a small hope we could still get him back.

i either watch the road broadcast when we're on the road or mute our dorks if i have to watch our feed.

I don't have cable anymore, just Youtube TV. Since YTTV and Sinclair/Bally are greedy it is not on any streaming devices anymore....

So I try to use the Hotwire account I have for work which worked perfectly fine with the FOX SPORTS TV app/website with the new "Bally sports" app. They say I don't have authorization anymore. I emailed support and only ATT, DirecTV and Comcast are available to stream on the new "Bally Sports app".

Okay cool. So I ask my friend to share his Comcast account so I can watch on the Bally Sports App.... it keeps logging me off every week, which I have to call my friend, ask him for the code sent to him and log in again. I got tired of bothering him for the code.

Now I've been doing a VPN to Portugal so I can watch on the MLB.TV because of the fucking stupid blackout rules.

so whether these last 2 months are a look ahead to competing next year or at least giving us (most likely a false sense) some hope for the division essentially comes down to the next 10 days. I get wanting to space the best pitchers out but I would be trotting Sandy and Pablo out there today and figuring out the remaining rotation for the next week later. Today needs to be a sweep. 7 inning games with our rotation is ideal and there is no more time to sit and wait to make a run. If we don't go 6-1 in these Phillies/Braves games without Acuna we need to sell Marte, Aguilar, free agent bullpen arms, and maybe even cooper is the price is worth it.

Hopefully this all star break can be a turning point and we can at least make it interesting although the week I was out of town when we lost like 7 in a row pretty much put the nail in their season. I have absolutely no hope because this offense can score 10 runs today and get us all excited and then get 2 hits tomorrow, but hopefully we can at least make a run to make it competitive and make these last 2 months legitimately fun and not just a look towards the future.

But without a doubt, given how we play vs the Phillies and our position in the standings, a sweep is 100% necessary today. These guys really seem to have a good camaraderie and enjoy playing together so maybe the knowledge of several major moves coming can bring the team together and let us go on a run. If not, i'd blow it up (veterans only obviously) and start dealing off Marte, Aguilar, Yimi, Bleier, maybe rojas (would be very hesitant on him for several reasons), Cooper, Berti, etc.

See now that sandy vs matt moore is game 1 and Detwiler vs Eflin is game 2. Given their choices i would have switched up Detwiler and Sandy since eflin seems to have success against us but we shall see how that works out. Unfortunately we don't have an off day for 10 days so pitching sandy and Pablo same day would have given us issues but given the desperation of the teams position i think it would have been worth it.

At least when wheeler goes he's matched up with Pablo so hopefully we can make that a game that comes down to bullpens since wheeler is super human this year.

keibert ruiz needs to be the guy we try to snag from a position of strength like OF or SP. unreal how good he is going to be. 161 ab's and a 22/22 K/BB ratio, .960 OPS, .286 average, 12 hr's and 13 2b's albeit in OKC which helps inflates numbers. But still, maybe with Bauer out the marlins can try to spin a SP for ruiz. Wouldnt even be opposed to dealing pablo if we can get ruiz and then another SP prospect to replace pablo.
