good lord trevor rogers is a legit top of the rotation guy already. Between him pablo and sandy our rotation is phenomenal if we can just get healthy. Cant wait to see sixto in the mix as well.

trevor rogers numbers since the 2nd inning of that first start against the cardinals after the jitters in the first inning of that game have been off the charts. Straight up unhittable.

the fact that mlb decided that getting rid of the DH in the NL and forcing every NL team to risk injury to their pitcher was a good idea shows how poorly run and behind the times the commissioner's office is. Just straight-up moronic choice to make the game less interesting and more boring. Just a completely ridiculous decision. It's like they actively make decisions to make the game less appealing to the general fan.

magneuris sierra is horrendous. Enough of him already. He does nothing well. If the role is going to be just an occasional pinch hitter and defensive replacement at least bring monte up and let him take that role. He has bad plate discipline but so does Sierra. Monte has a better arm, is just as fast, is a much better base stealer, and he has infinitely more power. I hate when they let a guy being out of options be an excuse for letting a shitty player waste a roster spot an entire year. Losing sierra isn't something to be worried about, the guy just has no discernible major league skill aside from speed that he simply doesn't understand how to utilize.

I was ok taking out Rogers with a 5 run lead. If the game were closer I would’ve not approved.

if sixto gets back before june we could have 1-2-3 in the rookie of the year race. Rogers has been an ace, jazz looks to be a future superstar. Great signs so far, hopefully more to come when the minor league season starts next week and we finally get to see Bleday, Misner, Burdick, etc again.
