because we are carrying 2 rule 5 pitchers and have now 4 of our starting position players out. at a certain point we are kind of running out of guys to promote.

they brought him up with the taxi squad today, id assume he gets the call tomorrow either with Jazz going on the DL or devers going back down.. they said the reason it was devers was because he was on the taxi squad that was traveling with the team and they didn't think Anderson was going to have to go on the DL until they got to San Fran and it was easier to just move Devers up to the big league squad and let isan continue to hit every day.

isan was taking grounders at 3rd today as well. I'd assume he starts either there or at 2b tomorrow and berti gets the other position. we are absolutely decimated by injuries right now. Our 3 best starting position players and our starting C. hard to overcome that but hopefully we tread water and aguilar's hot bat can carry us for a week.
