Why pinch hit Berti instead of Aguilar? Aguilar’s a better RBI guy and now we lost our most versatile player for the rest of the game.

Clearly they need to double switch to get Jazz out of the game, who must be gassed after that trip around the bases.

Cimber stinks especially against lefties. So Mattingly brought him in with the Giants best left handed hitter due up and he hit a 3B.

i get the reasoning is that he is out of options but why is sierra still on this team? He really brings nothing except for speed that he isn't effective at using properly. He cant hit enough to make the speed worthwhile and he is incredibly inefficient stealing bases. id honestly rather have monte up here or at the very least brinson. They both cant hit either but at least they are effective on the bases and defensively and if they manage to make contact with the ball can actually hit it far.

I would actually rather have Anthony Bender up. We could use a reliever that doesn’t pitch to contact.

that would actually make sense given that berti can play CF, and we have an extra OF and we are carrying 2 bullpen pitchers who are going to be hidden as much as possible for 6 months.

That last HR he gave up to Acuna he hit his spot perfectly. Acuna is just inhuman.

im not sure if the giants would ever deal him due to his tenure there but if they do fall out of the race and look to deal him in the last year of his deal posey wouldn't be a terrible option to just provide competence and veteran leadership and experience at the C position the rest of the year. kind of on his last legs but no future money to pay him and we could give them a prospect that would help their farm system which is lacking.

dickerson did everything right except for the easiest part of the play

I was told when he came here that Dickerson was good defensively. I haven’t seen it.

curtiss looks like a guy who you can count on to not walk people but he's pretty hittable.
