I’m pretty sure it’s only done once a week.

Do you not like it or are you just genuinely curious about the point of it?

i just don't see why we've branded sporting events as the one place where we play the national anthem and sing god bless America. why not award shows as well? Why arent we standing for the national anthem prior to movies in theaters or the 6 o'clock newscast? it just seems unnecessary, especially in baseball when half the players arent even American, and the middle of the 7th inning seems like a weird time to insert some patriotism. If it were a US national team like the Olympics or the world baseball classic it would make sense but it's just always been weird to me how they try to make sporting events these patriotic events.

Nobody said this. I'd like to see anybody build a completely new Bullpen in one offseason on $9 million for 8 pitchers. They didn't spend the money, period.

An easily avoidable loss but we are still doing things on the cheap. I’ll give them one more year than I originally said (because of C-19) but if they don’t spend in 2022 to resolve glaring problems areas (bullpen/catcher) I won’t be renewing my season tickets. I’ll still watch on TV but.....

jazz is the real deal. the unwillingness to spend on the bullpen despite a plethora of cheap options on the table this offseason and the unwillingness to make moves to improve the catcher position is going to hold this team back from being legit good. alfaro is absolutely awful and his plate discipline actively makes the team worse. if he stunk and actually put the ball in play it would be one thing but he is a strike out machine and the ab's are just horrendous.

Pitching has been phenomenal though absent bass's terrible debut last night. If Sandy and Pablo stay healthy that's a pretty great 1-2 and then you have sixto and rogers still ready to fire.
