I really don't know what Mattingly is thinking hitting Andy 5th. You simply cannot hit your best hitter that late in the lineup. Because of that, he doesn't get up in the 10th tonight. Inexcusable.

How the hell dont we DFA Brinson and jump on Nick Williams. Doubt we do it especially since Pitt is claiming ALL and we are like 15th now in Waiver claim

I agree. Don’t see how Brinson isn’t DFA’d in the coming days once the Covid players start to come back anyway. That said, I don’t think Williams would have a role here either.

Really frustrating the last 3 games. We could've won all of them. I still don't get Mattingly. We could've bunted Brinson over to 3rd etc.

Also, what is wrong with the umpiring crew? The calls really screwed us yesterday.

Eliaser was doing great yesterday, but that one fastball up that killed us. He should've gone for the breaking pitch.

The road team can’t be playing for 1 run in extra innings. If the Forsythe ball is fair, no one is asking about that. I don’t blame anything on the not bunting in extras.

Agree. I just don't like the new extra innings rule, but it is what it is.

Apparently the same umpiring crew is following us to Miami for the next series. I can't believe they are sticking them with these same umps again. Maybe giving the Marlins the world's worst umpires is MLB's punishment for the outbreak. They really have been the worst I've seen.

I'd rather get 1 run and bet on the home team getting 2 runs than going for 2+ runs... not getting anything and then the home team only needs to score 1 lol.

Yep MLB is trying to match umps with teams to limit exposure. Dont want umps going from Miami/Toronto(maybe someone sick) to NYY/Atlanta game and passing it on so these crap guys are with us
