phenomenal play. Pablo's FIP has to be super low today. he has given up 3 runs but there's been a lot of soft contact and defensive issues.

Never thought I'd say this but with the guys that are currently on the roster. Sierra needs to be playing every day. Pretty much the only CF, RF that's showed a pulse.

maybe that's the move for a few days. there might not be a good answer though with the current options. might just be one of those things where everyone seems like a better option when they arent the one playing

wonder if they give pablo one more inning. in a small season this is the type of game you need to steal a few of. degrom on the mound but comes out after just 5 and gives up 2 runs and you're only down 1 with at least 4 innings coming up against their pen. a win here would be enormous

between him and brinson it's been a hell of a week. throw in Yamamoto looking bad and isan opting out and that yelich trade has had a damn bad week

It’s probably not that low.

FIP has nothing to do with contact and he has 4 walks in 5 innings (in part because this home plate umpire sucks).

are you sure fip has nothing to do with contact? I thought it just took into consideration how hard balls were hit and weak contact and stuff like that that gives you an idea of how much was luck and how much was deserved.

ive seen tarpley numerous times now and do not at all see what the team sees in him. are they just trying to use sharp as little as possible just so they can keep him for the future as the rule 5 guy? i don't get why he has not been used more unless they might start him coming up until guys get back.
