I can't see Eddy Alvarez on TV without admiring a quality at bat or excellent defensive play. Beauty's in the eye of the beholder.

I do think Alvarez would be a good utility infielder in the majors, unfortunately Berti is also on the team and he's better.

I loved what Berti brought to the table last season. 100% hustle and top notch speed. Given the same major league opportunity, I believe Eddy would have a similar impact. He's a better hitter than Berti based on minor league progress/results. By the way, Devers looks like a real ball player who may give Jazz a run for the money.

It's an exhibition game, and the best thing that could've happened.
That has to be Conley's last game as a Marlin so it was worth it.

Vesia yes, but Holloway I'm confused on. Guy walked 66 batters in 95 innings and put up a 4.64 ERA at the super pitcher-friendly confines of Jupiter. Nothing he did last year made me think he was close to being major league ready. Also, Aaron Northcraft was left off the 30-man. I thought he looked excellent back in March and had really intriguing AAA numbers last year.

With Neidert making the team, maybe they let Elieser go 3-4 innings in his first start and then follow up with Neidert in a long-relief role, and have those two work it out. That's what I'm hoping for at least.

i was just gonna say holloway has no business being on a major league roster. The guy cant throw a strike if his life depended on it.

Conley needs to just go already. the guy sucks and they blew a golden opportunity to trade him an steckenrider for a good return 2 years ago.

Neidert making the team is interesting. Id rather him get the 5th spot if hes gonna be on the team at all. I kinda feel like we know what elieser is at this point

I actually think they’re going to surprise this year. Their pitching should be solid, and their bats improved. I also think they are better suited than some for the universal DH.

aaron northcraft being left off sucks if there is no injury not being reported. he should be on that roster ahead of a bunch of those guys.

super excited to see vesia though. that guys trajectory has been remarkable. and hopefully they find something with holloways delivery or coming out of the pen gives him better control for whatever reason. wouldnt be the first time its happened to a decent prospect- brad hand and andrew miller come to mind. hopefully he is a guy similar to them who can harness the good stuff out of the bullpen more.

Holloway is pretty much Tayron. They want to see if he figures it out before they give him away

Holloway throws 98-100 is 6'6 235 and has a wipeout curve. Probably crap but is on 40 man so take a look. He looks bad u DFA and add Northcraft

Sucks on Steck tho-triceps issue he probably gone for 2 or 3 which means season
