Conley and Urena still could be gone and Moran will get DFA when we sign RP

Few minor tweaks to roster but bats are pretty much set right now. If guy doesnt have trade value no real point in signing him as most of these guys(Villar/Kemp/Caleb/Urena/Conley/Stanek/Cervelli) are all gonna be on block come July. Villar won't if talking extension

They need to trade Moran(for rookie ball guy) and DFA/trade Conley(for anything) now to open up a 40 man spot.

They still want a vet RP and have also talked to some teams on minor leaguers for other NON 40 man prospects or IFA $$$. Pompey/other OF and arms who need to be 40 man have been discussed

1 issue they are having on the IFA $ front is they want some Cuban guys but they havent been cleared yet so no need to get 2019 IFA $ which means they have to wait till mid June. No point in trading guys if u can't spend the cash. They are looking to trade guys because of the 40 man crunch next year(same reason u see them get Rookie ball guys in trades and were OK trading Nelson-he had to be added next year)

Me too. Tarpley was possibly a victim of anxiety after moving to the big league stage in New York. He won't feel that pressure as a Marlin.

I am, but I'm still not convinced they're going to spend enough money to make that translate into a winning ball club.

Interesting poll results of minor league players/systems (MLB execs were polled). The Marlins are almost completely ignored. Two mentions only: Sixto came in third as best future closer; and Jesus Sanchez was listed in the top few of most overrated.

I don’t think taking away a title really does anything so just put an asterisk next to it, but if that turns out to be true that will be at least a year long suspension if not a permanent ban. and if you see the video of him about to touch home on the walkoff In the alcs saying don’t rip my jersey off it might be.
