If Urbina cracks the top 40, Pudge has to crack the top 15.

Also, how about the ridiculously underrated Devon White?

His '97 contributions are so overlooked (like the slam against San Fran) and he was the best defensive outfielder we've ever had (Carroll withstanding).

Devo was the best defensive player in his prime but we didn't have him in his prime. Was still good but don't know if he would have been the best. Chucky had some great range. I'd say chucky #1, devo #2, then probably Alfredo #3, Cody #4. Are those 4 the only 4 that have been plus defensive OFers for us? lol. If only pierre had an arm.

Josh Willingham should be about 5 spots higher on the list atleast. Considering his entire body of work, I would rank him ahead of Delgado, Ross, Rapp and Harvey.

No way in hell Braden Looper is the third greatest reliever in our history, tenure be damned.

notwithstanding some of the questionable picks on this list, absolutely love that luis is #1. he at least got that right.

really, if this team were to ever retire a jersey in the near future, he should be the first guy to have his jersey retired.

I would think Conine would be the first to have his number retired.

He probably would be, but that doesn't mean he should be.

here is the top 20's WAR. considering the fact that the fielding stat used is far from perfect, the list looks more or less fine outside of having relievers in the top 20, both of them should be gone.

                            20. Preston Wilson 4.7
                            19. Edgar Renteria 4.1
                            18. Antonio Alfonseca 3.1
                            17. Dan Uggla 8.9
                            16. Juan Pierre 4.2
                            15. Alex Gonzalez 0.3 (His 2003: very very good. The rest: not. Good fielder but nowhere near enough for his bat)
                            14. Charles Johnson 11.1
                            13. Cliff Floyd 16.8
                            12. Robb Nen 5.2
                            11. A.J. Burnett 11.1
                            10. Derrek Lee 9.2
                            9. Kevin Brown 13.3
                            8. Gary Sheffield 13.2
                            7. Josh Beckett 9.2
                            6. Jeff Conine 14.9
                            5. Mike Lowell 16.4
                            4. Hanley Ramirez 18.4
                            3. Dontrelle Willis 18.4 (Pitchers include hitting and base running. Dontrelle has added 3.5 wins with those two)
                            2. Miguel Cabrera 18.7
                            1. Luis Castillo 20.1
