Apples and Oranges. Making a recruiting promise to a kid and then one to a grown man are very different, at least to me they are.

Well Urban Meyer has been known as a big douche for years anyways. Any kid that signs with him is asking for it.

Loria had said he was turning over a new leaf, and promised those guys they would not be traded. And it involves more people than just a kid. These men have families, more than likely the kid doesn't.

Just throwing this out there, but maybe a fair comparison for Hechavarria is Alex Gonzalez? Gonzo did have more power (23 homeruns in 2004 and 2010) but was all over the place with the batting average.

Who really would've been cool to have at SS next year though would have Jose Reyes. That guy can do it all.
