yes. Hard to see where Burdick or Bleday could possibly get a shot before LeBlanc, as he has produced about as much as the pair of them put together. He also plays some infield and I've seen some nice plays at 2B. LeBlanc, N Gonzalez, L Quintana, and even E Gonzalez are looking like major leaguers for somebody.

LeBlanc BABIP is almost .500 and he Ks in 1/4 of ABs.Amy Adams, AKA Cinnamon MuffLogan Morrison: "If baseball didn't exist, I would probably be ... like a curler. Or a hairstylist."

It's the broken record - it's time to trade immediately for a major CF upgrade to replace DLC to help right now, and then reassess at the deadline if you can upgrade Berti (with a lefty killer 2B/3B), Henry (with anything), and one of Aguilar/Cooper (as they are the obvious ones they could make a move on short/longterm).

The tough thing with Soler and Garcia is that they have zero plate discipline - both routinely swing at balls. Take Soler's at bat late in yesterday's game. After three wildly out of the zone pitches got him to a 3-1 count and the Marlins needed baserunners, not a solo homer with no outs, he swung at ball four. The pitch was maybe a foot above the strike zone. He homered on the next pitch - but I considered it a horribly out of touch at bat. Seems like the half of his plate appearances that haven't been whiffs have been choppers to third, all the result of rolling over on outside pitches.
Garcia won't walk, but at least he goes oppo on the outside pitches. Both Garcia and Soler should be down around 6-7 in the order (since they are going to play every day regardless).

This basically. Once Garcia gets going, he probably moves 5/6 with the other of Cooper/Aguilar, and Wendle/Anderson bat 7/8.
vs RHP
2B Jazz
LF Soler
CF Sanchez
1B/DH Cooper/Aguilar
SS Wendle
1B/DH Cooper/Aguilar
3B Anderson
RF Garcia
C Stallings
The broken record of it'll be really great to bench one of Cooper/Aguilar/Soler/Garcia every day to keep them fresh and get a better defensive CF/LF situation out there.
The lefty lineup is a real disaster. I think they need to trust the veterans to regress to the mean as the front 5 should hit enough. I'd flip Garcia with Aguilar once he course corrects but that's about it. They really could use that CF who hits lefties, and then a bench upgrade from Berti with another guy who hits lefties. Then they can pick their poison of one of Jazz, Anderson, or Wendle batting 8th and playing somewhere, with Sanchez taking any off days from Cooper/Soler/Aguilar/Garcia/New CF.
vs LHP
1B/DH Cooper
LF Soler
1B/DH Aguilar
RF Garcia
SS Rojas
CF Sanchez/DLC/Berti
3B Anderson/Wendle/Berti
2B Jazz/Berti
C Stallings/Henry
Things that should have all been done in March, as well as why is Aguilar on the team when they could have upgraded him with something much more useful. Anyways.

I've been thinking that LeBlanc might earn a promotion to fill in at second, third, and left field. He's certainly hitting. And then Berti hits another line drive to right field and I figure he should continue to be used the way he is. At least the Marlins will be well equipped to handle an injury.

Not acquiring a closer, and picking the wrong bats this offseason continue to hurt this team. Wendle looks like the only good move of the offseason so far. Maybe Stallings is a wash, but it would be nice if he could get a hit every once in a while.
I agree with Lou that Meyer should be in the rotation immediately. Put Hernandez in the pen.
Mattingly also with some terrible in-game management. Why are you pinch hitting Garcia in a big spot late in the game when you have Sachez available? And what does Garcia do? Promptly strikes out.
