also the more i hear about jazz, he's gonna be a fucking star and the face of the franchise along with sixto in 3-4 years. Bleday might be the consistent, middle of the order guy, but jazz is gonna be electric.

The week we traded for Jazz it was pretty clear he was either going to be the face of the franchise all star or a bust. I don’t think anyone thought he would be anything in the middle of that.

Agreed, but it looks like that'll be the case. Only thing I can think of is he has no trade value like Harold. The thing to do would've been to deal Cooper because he has more trade value than Harold and keep Harold strictly for 4th OF purposes.

Or they value him higher than Harold, and didn't get offers they deemed enough, so they kept him (thus far).

No it makes no sense but 2 things

#1 No one is really pushing for a spot.Monte/Jesus/Jerar/Lewin are all in line but didnt show anything LY. This is Miami's problem-they would love to move on with the younger guys but still want to compete

#2 They tried to trade Cooper and got hits from SD/LA/Oakland/TB but NOT at the value they wanted.

Now when June comes along and if we are stinking up the place u could see alot of just dump moves but right now they just dont want to trade Cooper for 2 low level players and call up Jesus Sanchez and watch him bomb

1000% this. They would have been happy to deal Cooper if offers were what they wanted. This is the same with our SP-they would love to trade a young controllable arm for a bat(Gallen/Jazz type thing-think Elieser for Contreras HAHAH) but havent gotten anything they liked

Like Mish reported Cubs asked for Burdick/Misner/McCambley and 2 OTHERS for Contreras. Boston asked for Cabrera OR Bleday for Bientendi(and we saw what they got HAHAHA) We would have done a Braxton Garrett or Elieser to Baltimore for Satander but even Baltimore tried to get us(They asked for Burdick/a ML ready arm and more HAHAH)Teams been looking to strongarm us in trades and so far we have passed

Burdick is gonna be the guy to watch this year!!

He is 24 and should be the LF in Pensacola(AA). Actually the whole AA OF/DH thing should be interesting

I just don't see how Cooper is going to be able to increase his trade value beyond what it is right now if he's not playing every day.
