Early Prospect Prediction: Peyton Burdick and Griffin Conine will start the year at AA at the 2 Corner OF spots, and will be the breakout prospects of next year. Bleday will prove to Lee that 140 mediocre ABs at Jupiter is not the death knell to his career that he would have you believe.

Twins outfielder Eddie Rosario is on outright waivers, sources tell The Athletic. The move is the clearest sign yet he will be non-tendered. Twins essentially giving him chance to be claimed by team that might pay him his projected arbitration salary of $9.6M. 1/1

I would be all over this if I was the Marlins. Rosario is an interesting option for relatively cheap power. They made a similar move last year with Villar and James Rowson knows him from Minnesota.

There are 4 or 5 C that in the Rule 5 they "like"Last edited by tjfla; 12-02-2020, 08:31 AM.

We got incredibly little feedback on the development of Scott, Bleday, Misner, Encarnacion, VV Mesa, etc. this fall and have no idea how far they have advanced their hit tools. But overall, I'd say sure, Burdick and Conine at the AA OF corners and probably VV between them. Bleday might also join the AA OF/DH group. I look for good things from Devers as the AA shortstop.

Urena perhaps throws his change too hard (90 mph) vs 88 for Sandy. Same with the slider. With a few tweaks by a capable pitching coach, Urena could still become a very good pitcher IMO. I would have kept him.Last edited by Namaste; 12-02-2020, 10:22 AM.

As for Aguilar, I hope Miami keeps him. He had some big moments for them, and he's not going to cost a whole lot. They probably could even trade him to an AL team at some point if they wanted to. FWIW, Mish thinks they're going to tender him.
