          Mike Olt and Jurickson Profar!

Won't happen but that would be cool.

JJ is one of my favorites, but I'm okay with trading him assuming the price is right, and the right price is a lot.

              This.

It would take a tremendous offer to let JJ go. I'd be asking for the same price that I would if JJ was pitching like an ace this season.

I'd be pissed trading JJ. Trading him for anything below an amazing offer would infuriate the entire fan base.

This fanbase gets infuriated at any and every thing though, it shouldn't be a factor.

Maybe they take a hit with the casuals for it, but if they start winning, it won't matter.

Coming out of the game. Something seems to be wrong with his pitching hand.

I don't think trading JJ, a year removed from being one of the best pitchers in baseball, will make this team better short term or long term.

I think we're capable of being 44-51 after 95 games next season without JJ.

This fan base was asking for long term deals for Cody Ross and Alfredo Amezaga. Go to fan fest and you'll see the majority of people who root for this team do not know anything about baseball (or sports for that matter). It could be argued the Heath Bell signing was partially a fan base move and look how well that has turned out. This group has been together since 2006 and the best showing was 87 wins in 2009. Just focus on building a winner and everything will follow.

Right. This season the tickets already sold. If they ditch everyone, then go out and sign Bourn/BJ, get a veteran Marcum/maybe even Anibal back, buyout Stanton for 6-7 years, and then fill holes with realistic stop gaps to combine with the players they get back, I don't think the fan base will say they suck.

Do we become better than that without JJ? Remember, this is a bad season by all accounts from JJ. How in the hell do we benefit by letting go of our ace? Obviously we listen, and maybe a team blows us away with an offer, but I don't see any team giving us any kind of offer that will match what JJ can give us when he's at his best.

I remember the open forum they had to let fans ask questions. It was the most embarrassing thing I've ever seen. Couldn't believe some of the stupid shit they asked.
