I want Bourjos covering ground in our CF. He's under club control until around 2016 (I believe), but I really don't see LAA taking on Ricky and Bell for him (due to all the money they'd have to eat).

Bourjos solves our problems in CF for the next 4 years. You can pair him up with Giancarlo and Ruggiano/Yelich (late 2013, early 2014) and those guys cover the OF for years to come.

LoMo goes to 1B, Olt 3B, Reyes SS, Boni 2B and I'm guessing Brantly and someone else handle catching duties.

Giancarlo, Olt and LoMo drive in the runs and everyone else just has to get on base.

But that would leave us with only one "proven" starter. I guess we can sign guys via free agency but I don't know how having a complete makeover to a starting staff would translate.

The only thing Nolasco has proven is that he's easily replaceable.

If we're going to have a Beinfestball speedster, it might as well be in center. With scoring throughout the league being as low as it is, the value of run prevention increases. The park is also built for Burgers type player to run around out there. One of the biggest flaws of the current roster is having 2/3 outfielders playing out of position. Emilio was okay but he made up for his inability to read balls off the bat with his speed. LoMo is LoMo. Not going to cut it in the third largest CF and second largest LF in beisbol.

I was thinking, Beinfest says Turner would be up here very soon. This means we're trading one of Anibal/JJ because there's only one spot open in the rotation (Anibal's) and that is taken by Eovaldi.

No way you mess around with a young arm like that. It's either starting in Majors or AAA, and they got Eovaldi to contribute to the rotation right now.

Turner will just replace JJ when he gets hurt in his first start after we don't trade him at the deadline.
