For what it's worth, I'd rather have Nathan Eovaldi instead of guys like Avery, etc. You weren't specific with the arms so most hated the proposal because Xavier Avery kinda sucks.

The Oakland rumor contradicts the rumors that came out today, to be fair.
And still, this is better value. Eovaldi + taking all of Hanley's salary > Grant Green (a 24-year old with an .OPS under .800 in the PCL) + taking most of Hanley's salary.

He's a Center Fielder, I believe. Last time he played Catcher was 2010.
