He has youth on his side, sure. And yea, like many young pitchers, he's inconsistent. But those young pitchers that put up 5.05era in 3 seasons get sent down. He hasn't "held down a spot" in the rotation. He's been given one and every year he shits all over that spot.

He's just not very good. Hell, he's not even average. He's one of the worst starters in baseball.
