I just don't believe he is the reason. I understand why they did it. But we played well in April & May.. We get to June we suck so we fire the hitting coach? The players are now pressing. Which is why Mallee was fired. Take the focus off the players and put it on the coaches.

But Cousins gets like 2 AB's a week. And Cousins is faster than Petersen. If he's going to replace Cousin's role, I don't see the point.

Cousins, Helms, Ozzie (altho Starting him and giving him one game of abs might help) Have all been bad.. Does the front office not see how overmatched Helms is at the plate? he has ZERO bat speed. Moyer and his 65mph fastball could blow by him at this point.
