I think the people involved in the deal are probably not surprised.
Sosnick is a dick, but he knew the Marlins weren't going to not let this deal get done, no matter how much chest puffing he did. And the Marlins knew they were going to get a deal done, because they had to. They knew JJ wasn't going to turn down 39 million when it was sitting in front of him, and I'm guessing their offer didn't come as a surprise to them.poop

Beef, if that's the case then why was everyone on the website all doom and gloom when that news came out a couple months ago? I'm sure there were some people (maybe even you) who may have expected this, but hte majority of people were legitimately worried that this wouldn't get done.Record when He pitches: 3-2
