I don't see how Trout clearly has better numbers than Cabrera, other than Cabs is a fatso with no triples and few SB.

It's the hope of many fans (including me) that the MVP is not awarded to the best offensive player but the best player.

It's not the MVOP (Most Valuable Offensive Player).
