They also have one of the most inherintly unlikeable and douchebaggy fanbases in sports.Amy Adams, AKA Cinnamon MuffLogan Morrison: "If baseball didn't exist, I would probably be ... like a curler. Or a hairstylist."

Furcal hasnt been anything offensively for years.

They averaged 4.46 runs per game in the second half, which would have ranked fifth in the National League for the whole season.

It's certainly mediocre. 19th in the league in bullpen ERA, 27th in bullpen WAR.Last edited by Erick; 10-13-2012, 12:49 AM.

Yea, last years were nothing special. Difference was that team had momentum going into the playoffs. This years got in by virtue of being a little less bad than the Dodgers over the last few weeks.Amy Adams, AKA Cinnamon MuffLogan Morrison: "If baseball didn't exist, I would probably be ... like a curler. You must really hate the Cardinals. Calling a team with a +117 run differential "arguably the worst playoff team in years" is laughable.
They were basically just as good as the team that won the World Series last year.
They're also certainly not even the worst Cardinals playoff team of the last decade. 2006 team was way worse and it's not even arguable.

Once again, I live in their market and watch them every night. They were very fortuitous to play the Cubs and Astros in 9 straight games(7-2) in the middle of September. They were 10-13 aside from that.Amy Adams, AKA Cinnamon MuffLogan Morrison: "If baseball didn't exist, I would probably be ... like a curler. Or a hairstylist."
