And yep, just scored on a play at the plate with a headfirst slide.

Ramp, this is the excitement I was talking about.

He looks straight out of 2005 on the basepaths. What hustle!

        The DBacks bullpen is atrocious

If they fucking blow this for DTrain...

A quality start for Dontrelle. He had 4 walks but still it's a good sign.

I don't know if he's good at pitching anymore, but from what I saw last night, he's still good at being awesome

He's not garbage. Garbage doesn't go 6 inning in the bigs with a hit and a run scored.

You gotta come up with a more appropriate adjective for him.

And the NL argument is weak. Are Willingham and Baker garbage because they play in the NL? You're better than that.

The walks are bound to catch up with him.

Very possible. But I'm just picky about adjectives. He pitched 6 scoreless innings in a big league game, got a base hit and dove safely into home plate. His team loved it and so did the fans.

That's not garbage. I know I'm being a homer but still.

No one questions how awesome D-Train is in the way he competes, it's just unfortunate his pitching isn't what it was when he was going good for the Marlins. Garbage may be a bit harsh, he does labor through his starts with how much he walks though. I hope coming back to the NL does him some good because I want to see him succeed.

                        The NL<AL is lame.

When you face 8 hitters rather than 9 it certainly helps.

I mean the NL hitting is garbage. Pitchers always do better over here in the NL than they do in the AL. ie Smoltz and Brad Penny last season.

I'm not impressed with what Willis did last night. It happens, everyone catches lightning in a bottle some nights. I'd like to believe I think he's DFA'd by the Snakes years end, but the NL is so weak, he could stick. So I don't know what to believe.
