How much of a difference does this trade really make for Phili next year? I guess looking at contracts it will be better for them down the road but how many more games does Roy Halladay really contribute over Cliff Lee? My guess is not more than MAYBE a pair.
after checking out fangraphs.com Halladay contributed 7.3 WAR and Lee contributed 6.6. So this wont even make the difference of one win for them next year if they put up similar numbers in similar situations.
If I'm wrong about this please correct me. I know I'm not the most educated person here when it comes to these numbers.
