  • Oh shit, I forgot about Neidert, as did BA it seems. I'd probably still have him above Garrett, Rogers and Harrison.

I think they should end up with 4 in the Top 100. (5 if Gallen was eligible) Sixto, Bleday, Diaz and Cabrera. Unless Diaz loses his eligibility too.

he falls below the group i mentioned in my opinion because this seems to be a somewhat lost year for him and his stuff isnt supposed to be all that electric to begin with. I think he is more of a mid rotation guy at best whereas i see much higher ceilings with guys like Garett, Rogers, and Cabrera. All these guys are pretty interchangeable though. It's a phenomenal indication of where the organization is pitching wise moving forward.

        • So Romo has a 3.79 ERA and 1.21 whip all of a sudden.

I was just thinking Castro, Romo and Walker are doing their part. Gotta get some stuff for those 3.

That blew me away when Severino mentioned that yesterday.

                • this team has been playing .500 ball since mid may. imagine what they could do when we get some bats.

I hope we trade him for a prospect, and sign him back next year. I like Romo...off the field, seems like a good veteran presence, too.

I would have him ahead of Monte and Mesa. So yes, I believe the marlins have 7 guys who should be at least around the top 100 list for the time being before some of their prospect status goes away in Sixto, Bleday, Diaz, Gallen, Cabrera, Garrett, and Rogers.

pretty sure you all told me i overrated everyone last year as well when i said we have phenomenal SP depth

and saying someone is a top 100 prospect in baseball does not make them a "huge prospect"
considering there are about 6500 minor leaguers, and considering each year there are ~35 new first round draft picks...yes, it does

I was at the game. Ramirez’s HR went about 4 feet over my head. Franmil Reyes gold chain looks like it’s costs about $500K. He threw a ton of balls into the stands for kids. Brian Anderson threw zero. I don’t know if it’s common for home outfielders to throw balls to fans or not I just seemed to notice more yesterday because I was in Row A.

The bullpen kept us in the game.

I’m so glad he’s not our former Yankee manager. You’re not in control of your emotions when you get tossed out of a game in the 3rd inning of Game 1 of a doubleheader.

That's what Mattingly should've been doing after the absurd calls in the Padres series

he was well within his right to do what he did. Look at some of the calls that guy made in just the first 2 innings of that game. Also that rant was unbelievable. and you can tell that the ump knew he had been fucking awful because he took it and didnt say a word back to him other than to essentially tell him to be careful and not touch him.
