If you flip the season around the team is 10-3 which is pretty good. It's all about perspective.

Lee, I don't get why we would trade one of our best prospects for anyone. We're not supposed to be good this year. If we need to trade for bats we should trade them next year.

There's not good ... and then there's incredibly bad. If you have the view that help is on the immediate horizon from within the system, I guess you can sit back and wait. I don't see the help coming. If you can trade a future relief pitcher for a player that can help the team on a daily basis, I think you make that move. Have to put a little excitement on the field. That said, I don't think the Astros would trade Straw to the Marlins.

Agreed. I have season tickets and going to games is just yucky. However, I don't think bring Trout would even help this team. Bats need to develop this year at the farm system, and we gotta bring Casto, Prado, Granderson, Walker, etc etc value up so we can try to trade them. We could make this team better with our farm system, the thing is that we don't need or want to do that.
