I would say Barraclough, Dietrich, Ziegler, and Straily, with Maybin clearing waivers and shipped out in August.

Only disappointing thing there is Castro but hopefully that happens.

    • Now some GOOD news

Like predicted Victor Victor is going to the team who offers the MOST $$. So either Baltimore or Miami(Balt has 1.5 mil MORE than us) He has NOT agreed to anything with Baltimore and Miami is trying hard to get IFA cash from LAD and/or Cubs

Cubs are looking at Ziegler and Bearclaw
LAD are looking and talking with us about all 4 RP's
DD and Bour getting looks from Clev/Cubs/Boston

ONLY way JT is dealt is if Washington offers Robles and more(C/mid level prospect or 2) for JT. FO thinks they can resign him in Oct BUT if they get that offer it will be hard to say NO

LAD are going to get 1 or more of our RP. Which ones? Who the hell knows

4 RP's-would not be surprised to 1 or 2 to LAD and 1 to Cubs

Cubs system is BAD but Marlins like C Amaya(#1 Prospect),SS Ademan(#5Prospect),SP Lange/Hatch/Uelman/Underwood and IFA cash

Dodgers system is GREAT with us liking SP Alvarez,SS Lux,C Will Smith,SP Gonsolin,2B Estevez,3B Santana(LOTS others too) and IFA cash

A couple of days ago, I was skeptical Kyle Barraclough could be moved by Tuesday’s deadline. Now, I’m hearing teams may meet the overpay demands by #Marlins Changes the equation

With Moustakas to #Brewers that makes #Marlins Barraclough even more realistic option for #Cubs

The trade frenzy actually playing nicely into #Marlins hands. Also, their hardline stances on controllable players could prove very smartly as contenders scramble.

Something to watch on JT is if they do a deal with Cubs or LA see if they get a C in return. If they get Amaya,Smith or Ruiz it could mean JT to Wash

With Ryan Pressly off the board, #Dodgers are expected to turn their attention to the trio of relievers with the #Marlins (Barraclough, Steckenrider & Conley) as well as #Rangers duo of Keone Kela & José Leclerc.

We need Pitt to do something with Texas!!! But ya its NOT a secret that LAD are talking hard with us right now(which is why that idiot Frisaro is tweeting)

For a million in IFA money and Will Smith, the Dodgers can have all three of those relievers.

        • If the Marlins are indeed confident of signing JT in the offseason. It's gotta be Robles and Kieboom or GTFO.

Problem for Marlins is if they keep Realmuto they wind up with the same damn team. A combination of deals can change that. Three Victors in two OF spots and Smith behind the plate changes that dynamic.

And why are you talking like us acquiring Will Smith is a sure thing?

I'm chatting out my ass, much like the journalists. This Miami regime is especially closed-mouth, fueling speculation alone.

More likely its Alvarez,Lux,maybe mid level prospect and IFA cash for Bearclaw

Dodgers don't wanna give up either C and Cubs arent to into trading Amaya. Just saying IF u see us get 1 of them it could mean they are considering JT to Washington(IF OFFERED)

The IFA Cash is a BIG thing for us especially after report came out yesterday

Seems to me that the last thing Miami needs is another errant missle tosser like Alvarez. Lux? Sure. Smith? Absolutely. I'd be looking at adding Alcantara to our package, not obtaining another fading prospect like him.

Thats what Miami is telling them. Washington is thinking about offering Robles,C and 1 or 2 low level prospects then we have to decide

                      1 Take that offer
2 Say No and stick with Robles AND Kieboom
3 Say No and try to extend him in Oct

The 3 Marlins relievers combined have around $70-80 million in surplus value.

Will Smith is a FV50 prospect to Fangraphs, and FV55 to MLB pipeline. We'll give him the better rating - $38 million value. The IFA cash probably buys let's say half of a FV45 prospect (worth $5-7+ million in prospect money). Let's just say $45 million.

You can do that deal for Barraclough and Conley, or just Steckenrider. All three, you need another $25+ million in prospects minimum.

Smith, Lux, Ortiz/Smeltzer, Beaty, and IFA cash. That's all 3.

One of those Victors is 16 years old, though. So he's not coming for a while.

                            • Why aren’t the Marlins ever innovative like the Rays? Why not try the opener strategy? A bunch of our “starting” pitchers would probably be more effective.

                              • I think it would be a borderline travesty for the Marlins to allow a potential Cuban superstar to sign with the fucking Orioles of all teams. Know your fan base, man.
