Honestly I know everyone's been wanting Riddle to come up, but he'd just take ABs from Rojas at this point and probably no one else, and really with the way Rojas has been playing he should be in the lineup every day.

      • Prado needs to go too. Riddle can play 3rd as well

        • Prado is playing so much because they were trying to show teams he is still a player and can handle 3B so they can trade him(Failing at that)

No clue about Riddle but no reason u should have Shuck and Rivera up with Riddle and Austin Dean down. One note on Dean is he is not on the 40 man-I expect him to be up after trade deadline

Cloyd will be DFA soon-Brett Graves will be coming up for a test drive and they need his spot

Anderson/DD/Riddle/Rojas can all play 3B and Dean could play the corner OF

          • Teams that walk the most score the most runs and win the most games. Juan Soto, age 19, walked three times yesterday in his second major league start. Why is that notable? Brinson has walked just once in the entire month of May! Dietrich twice! Same for Castro. I think that says a lot about the scoring-challenged Marlins. (This dilemma doesn't reflect well on the hitting coaches either).

When looking for help, assessing prospects, I think the Marlins should focus on plate discipline. Look at Dean and Ortega at New Orleans. They walk as much as they whiff. Note: John Shuck, for whom walking should be the first priority every time he steps up to the plate, has walked just three times in 70 plate appearances.

                • Jessica Blaylock is so bad. Her sideline stuff makes me actually uncomfortable with how cheesy it is.

another series win. plus a lot of pitchers in the minors pitching well so we will soon have a bit of a SP surplus.

                        • Wellington Castillo just got suspended 80 games so that could only help JT's value as he was expected to be traded.

Tonight marks first time since 2016 that Marlins won a game in the ninth when trailing entering the ninth.
                          How is that possible?

Well this is just silly and demonstrably untrue.

Sounds like a pretty complete list of top teams to me. Recognition of a single exception hardly renders the list "silly". It supports it.

Single exception? Did you read his whole post? Walks are important, but they're just a piece of a very large puzzle.
