theyve just got to send brinson down already. pointless to continue to have him up here at all let alone batting him 8th every night.

let me spell it again.... b u s t. You continue to think this guy will figure it out. Some scout somewhere wrote a glowing report one night after watching him have a good night in A ball, and people continue to think "he's that guy". He ain't..... Just my opinion I don't see this guy ever hitting above 230 to 240 ever, and that will be a CAREER season for him.

Elieser Hernandez's 2 starts have been pretty impressive, especially considering he has all of 2 AA starts under his belt. Small sample size so far, but he throws strikes and doesn't get rattled. You can see why they liked him and think he can stick.

Conley throwing 97 out of the pen. He was a closer in college...Let him stay in that role the rest of the season and hope he becomes Brad Hand.

Yes 100%. Leave him in the pen the rest of the year for better or worse.

He looked very frustrated after he whiffed 3 AB. He's got to go down until the trade deadline. Even if he hits .400 down there, 2 full months to sort him out.

Fauowls, I agree on both counts. Yamamoto intrigues me more than ever. Elieser and he both pitched in the Carolina League last year, where Yamamoto outshined him and was a year younger.

What people have been saying about Conley for 2 years!!! Everyone knows what will happen however Mattingly will need a SP and instead of calling up Peters/Richards or letting Jarlin or Despaigne start he will call on Conley.

I really thought he was going to figure it out this year after I heard him on the Marlins radio before spring training. He said that people were trying to tweak his mechanics in 2016/2017 and he was going back to what made him successful in 2015. I don't know if he's going to be good in the bullpen, but I'd rather see him there than one of our starters or bums like Ziegler, Tazawa, Cloyd, etc
