I hope Barraclough gets all the saves until he's traded in July. That improves his value as it does answer a pressure question for some teams knowing he won't meltdown. Team's know what a vet like Ziegler brings for sure. I don't see him as part of the future pen as he has less control then Steckenrider/Wittgren. Those two Guzman, Merandy, Gallen, I guess Tayron, etc. are the longterm right handers to me (if one can say such a thing with relievers).

Barraclough is an awesome kicker to throw into a Realmuto/Bour/whoever trade to get the 1 better guy. Max him out.

I just hope they trade him and don't get attached. Bearclaw could bring as much as Bour if the market is slim like expected

I'm liking the look of our pen long-term. Also agree with Lou in the sense that if Caleb doesn't work as a starter long-term, he has the stuff to be a dominant lefty reliever like Miller/Hader. His fastball would be 95+ out of the pen with his swing and miss slider.

Random but i didnt realize how young Merandy is. MLBpipeline tweeted something about the youngest players in the majors and he was in the top 10. Also, the braves have the 3 youngest and 2 of them are already stars in Albies and acuna and the 3rd is soroka who is making his debut tonight. They are going to be a juggernaut for years to come.

there are plenty, the problem is most of them will be better off getting starts rather than switched to the bullpen and this team will be hard pressed to eat money like that. Id take a guy like jumbo diaz over him though as long as i dont have to see him in our uniform ever again though. Him and Ziegler both suck. Were not getting anything for either of them.

Ziegler might be worth something minimal, but Tazawa sucks. What about that Kinley guy that we just got back from the Twins? Give him a try, at least he throws hard supposedly.
