Let's hope Sandy gets better quickly, but assuming he continues to struggle I would really hope the Marlins don't just sell him for whatever they can get to move his contract, and hang on to him hoping he raises his stock, even if that means trading him next year. Their payroll is so low that there's no good reason to do the former.

He doesn't seem injured to me. It seems as simple as when he tries to get a hitter to chase he's way out of the strike zone and when he tries to throw strikes it's right down the dick of the plate. He's just not locating.

Our new City Connect jerseys suck shit.

The Jersey itself is ok at best. But the 305 hat thing is awful. It should’ve been the sleeve patch with the M fish logo that they used as a sleeve patch should’ve been on the hat.

that said, I’d have done a teal jersey top with black Miami (or Marlins) word mark with pink outline, and black pants with a teal and pink stripe down the side. The hat could be as-is but with the M fish logo

rebranding the team with the old school teal and pinstripes is like the easiest possible thing this franchise could do if the owner had any fucking pulse of what this dwindling fan base wants.

it's almost as if he dealt with a baby born with down syndrome in october who needed major open heart surgery in the middle of spring training. definitely something you should take a victory lap on after a month
