not sure if it's the way the marlins edited the video but sandys fastball looked ridiculous in the clip i saw. Bendix foaming at the mouth to get 5 19 year olds for him in july.

Can’t wait for the deadline when fish16 tells us how he predicted that Sandy would get launched as if every Marlins fan with a pulse didn’t expect it

I legitimately don’t even have any clue what you’re bitching about now. obviously we can all see sandy will be traded soon enough. it's par for the course for loser franchises to trade their ace on a bargain contract. If only we can all have your pulse on this team like when you told me they weren’t entering into a 3 year rebuild the night they traded arraez for nothing and that I was being hyperbolic.

it doesn’t matter what they do, you’ll cheerlead and excuse it regardless like the good Baghdad bob you are

Trading their 1 WAR player was the end of it all.

                -Baghdad Bob.

ya, the guy who won the batting title for the 3rd straight year while injured. the guy who had such great plate discipline and awareness that you could double his lead leading k% and still be a full 1.1% better than 2nd in the league. his previous 3 years were 4.9, 4.2, and 3.4 according to baseball reference. or 3.3, 2.6, and 1.6 in 120 games if you go by fangraphs. minimizing a player based off one year where he played hurt because you want to hype up anything the team does is the definition of baghdad bob. especially when the even bigger issue is the 0 return for him and the signaling of a multi year rebuild yet again.

I mean even teams in good financial position or what you consider good owners would seriously consider trading Alcantra.

He is coming off injury, was not particularly good after the shift ban(and has always been more reliant on defense that most "aces"), and is going to be 32 at the end of his current deal.

The guy so valued by the Padres that I wouldn’t be surprised if they moved him in 2025.

Please keep talking ONLY about Arraez’s amazing ability to make contact while completely ignoring all other facets of his game.

Oh also, GO MARLINS BASEBALL happy to have you hear to discuss all things Marlins!

Oh well if you wouldn’t be surprised by something, then that definitely is significant!!! I didn’t know you wouldn’t be surprised if they moved him, that changes everything!

having an elite skill set makes you overlook other deficiencies. Kind of like how he’s still been a damn good player by war the last 3 years he’s been healthy by war. And elite those 3 years if you go by bball references calculation.

its very clear you’re just going to rationalize and explain away anything this team does. You’re pretty pointless to have a conversation with. You talked about the promise of this season after 1 spring training game when this is probably the least promising roster in baseball outside of the white Sox and maybe the Rockies. Acknowledging reality doesn’t mean I ignore the team, not sure why you continue to think you have some sort of great point there repeatedly. My actual viewership of the team last year was almost nonexistent, and that went for most people. They have turned an admittedly fluky playoff team with promise if we had a competent owner who spent money into hot garbage with a terrible roster and mediocre farm system with the lowest payroll in baseball in less than a year. You’re the only one ok with that and consistently willing to excuse that

I was being sarcastic about the season being promising angry clueless guy.

I’m not quite sure why the cubs gave up on Matt Mervis so quickly for the opportunity to acquire Vidal Brujan who is out of options. Maybe mervis flames out but what’s the upside for that deal for them? It’s not like he was a top prospect 5 years ago, it was 2023
