It's VERY early, but many of Bendix's moves are looking pretty good thus far. The Marlins may have one of the better systems in baseball in the near future. If only they could supplement that with some smart spending on key positions, there might actually be a future here. Unfortunately with this owner...

My concern at this point is if they are just moving from a pitching strength to a hitting strength and we are just right back in the same situation with an unbalanced team. Hopefully white and the 2 meyers and snelling make some noise up here, plus eury and weathers. And if Sandy doesnt get back to his old self this year, id just hold onto him. There is no rush to trade him. I hope they dont trade him at his lowest value.

I wouldn't be shocked if the plan wasn't to alternate high end pitching and position talent every draft from here on out.Amy Adams, AKA Cinnamon MuffLogan Morrison: "If baseball didn't exist, I would probably be ... like a curler. Or a hairstylist."

1B - Mervis/De Los Santos
2B- Edwards
3B - Norby
SS - FA SS
LF - Conine
CF - Sanoja
RF - Stowers
DH - Ramirez/Myers
Bench - Ronny Simon UTIL, You could have Fortes come back, since Ramirez would be mainly a DH, or could keep another righty bat like Wagaman.
Deal Otto and Sanchez at the deadline.
Rotation:
1. Sandy
2. Max
3. Eury
4. Weathers
5. Mazur/Snelling/Braxton/Cabrera
White waiting in the wings.
Spend some money on the bullpen.

There seems to be real development at all levels right now between Alderman, Mack the last 2 years, Stowers and Conine at the big league level, Sanoja, The development of these guys year to year seems to be getting better, though it could just be bringing in better and more talented pieces.

I'm not sure I'd be overly worried about moving from pitching to hitting strength. They badly needed hitting, so that was a focus. But you mentioned Eury, White, Snelling, Meyer, and Weathers. That's 5 pitchers who should be here for a while. On top of that you have Cabrera, Garrett, Fulton, and Mazur. While none of them may be front line guys, if a couple are even decent back end guys that would be good. In the lower levels you have Nobel Meyer and Keyner Benitez who both have significant upside, and could end up with something from guys like Aiden May, Keven DeFrank, or Karson Milbrandt.
