I want to give Clayton McCullough time but my gosh...Otto Lopez is objectively one of the worst hitters in baseball. Continuing to bat him at the top of the lineup(including the 3 hole today) is an embarrassment.

Otto shouldn’t be at the top of any lineup but I doubt he’s one of the worst hitters in baseball.

with that said, I’ve never had less of a connection to a Marlins manager than I do with this guy. He has virtually no personality from what I can tell.

His WRC+ is 91. OPS+ is 90. For perspective there are only 38 players worse in the league.

A higher BABIP might help a bit but they were the exact same with a .318 BABIP last year.

Hes just an objectively awful hitter.

also had us as one of the worst in the league in terms of how we treat our reputation for how they treat players. saw something about giving the team subway sandwiches on the road. just a pathetic organization. someone smart will buy this team eventually, put the money into it that it deserves, and increase the value by a ton and actually have a winning organization. unfortunately we were bought by a moron who likes to spend 1.2 billion on a franchise and then put no money into it from there.
